About Peter MacSporran
Peter was born in Scotland and his early upbringing was on a farm on the Island of Mull.
​Peter, who has been a successful farmer for 30 years, was a major figure in the agricultural market liberalisation in Zimbabwe, having been President of the Commercial Farmers Union. For many years he was a board member of Seed Co and the Tanganda Tea Co. Peter was also Chairman of the Zambian Agricultural Commodity Exchange (ZAMACE), which he helped to establish as he did with the Zimbabwean Commodity Exchange.

He raised funds and set up a scheme to move Zimbabwean Commercial Farmers from Zimbabwe to Zambia when they lost their land due to the land redistribution program. He has been a financial advisor and consultant representing many multinational clients and individual farming clients. He was an executive director of AgDevCo until recently and now still sits on the board as a Non-Executive director.

He is married to Rozanne and has three children, Storm, Janine and Selby. He is a keen fisherman, loves agriculture, the wilderness and the ocean.
